  27. A flickerfixer buffers the 12 bits with colour information and sends it to
  28. the monitor (in analog form) with a higher scanrate. (It also deinterlaces
  29. the frames).
  30. So a flickerfixer can display 4096 colors on a Amiga with OCS/ECS.
  31. It can display a 256 colour screen flicker free, eg. 640x400 interlaced 
  32. with 256 colours will be displayed as 640x400 deinterlaced with 256 colors.
  33. What you'll loose is colour resolotion, i.e. you'll only have a 12 bit 
  34. palette instead of the 24 bit.
